Vogue features magnitude of 'plus-size' models in new shoot

In the last week there has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding the Calvin Klein "Perfectly Fit" ad campaign featuring the stunning, size 10 model Myla Dalbesio.

Called a 'plus-size' model by the modelling and fashion industry (luckily she was not called this by Calvin Klein...phew), the internet went berzerk at the thought of her being considered as a 'bigger girl'.

Today we heard that Vogue US, known as the queen of the glossies, has featured a magnitude of 'plus-size' models like Tara Lynn, Marquita Pring, Inga Eiriksdottir and Ashley Graham in an online lingerie shoot.

The fashion story shows beautiful black and white snaps of the models laughing and smiling, looking comfortable in their own skin as they show off beautiful lingerie for every women's shape.

The undies are exquisite and so are the models wearing them.

The last time a fashion mag did a spread using bigger models, was back in 2011 when Steven Meisel photographed a group of 'plus-size' models for Vogue Italia. So, basically, it's long overdue...

With Vogue US having one of the biggest female readerships in the world, spreads and ads like this are profoundly important.

Love it Vogue!
