Chris Brown: a timeline of disasters

2005: The two meet after Rihanna introduces Chris’s Run it performance at the Vibe awards.

2008: After much speculation, the two finally admit they’re dating

2009: Chris violently attacks Rihanna after the couple argue over a series of allegedly sexual text-messages on Chris’s phone.

Chris reportedly attacked Rihanna in his car giving her a swollen lip and a black eye which needed hospitalisation.

Chris was later charged with felony assault and making criminal threats, his music was taken off the radio and he stopped appearing in public.

He released this apology on youtube:

2011: Skip ahead a few years and good behaviour from Chris meant his restraining order was reduced.

The singer seemed to be moving in the right direction and was all set to release his new album when an interviewer asked him about his restraining order on Good Morning America.

Chris went wild; breaking a window and forcing staff to call security, revealing a temper that he had worked so hard to keep hidden.

2012:
Rumours start spiralling that Rihanna and Chris are getting back together.

2013: Rihanna confirms that she is dating Chris Brown again. The world does a double take.

In May, (thank goodness) the two called it quits again but sadly this wasn’t the last time we saw Chris in the tabloids for all the wrong reasons.

In June, Chris was involved in a fender bender and then made the whole thing much worse by refusing to give his proper insurance information and allegedly refusing to give the other driver his license plate number.

What should have been a small incident escalated when the L.A district attorney accused the singer of violating his probation and now Chris could face up to four years in jail!

Ri-Ri isn’t exactly making things easier either and the two have been embroiled in a social media war for the last few months.

We found this pic on Instagram which many people believe is directed at Chris.

We're glad to see Rihanna is seeing clearly again and hope this time she stays away for good!
