According to News24, it all started when Khumalo and Zandi allegedly assaulted Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa’s wife, Mandisa.
The assault occurred on Empire Road near the M1 South highway when the Afro-pop singer saw the husband and wife having a conversation, stopped her car and started beating up Mandisa.
Sounds like something straight out of a soapie scene!
I know what you’re thinking, why would Kelly just randomly start beating someone having a conversation with her husband in the street right? Could it be that Kelly, Senzo, and Mandisa are in some sordid love triangle? Affairs of the heart are often motivation for giving a beat down after all.
The siblings were also charged with malicious damage to property and reckless driving. The assault charge was also escalated to assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, which is much more serious.
They will appear in court again at the end of this month.
