According to TMZ, during a recent Q&A for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the cast was asked to name an aspect of pop culture from the last 50 years they’d recommend to hero Steve Rogers (who misses out on several decades in the film).
And, jokingly, Sam (no, not Laurence Fishburne) suggested RedTube – a website used to share porn for free.
Which is funny, right? I get it. Especially since his co-stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson said things like The Beatles and cake pops. It came out of nowhere and was a fun and naughty answer.
But now porn stars are up in arms about Sam’s support of porn piracy. And they want Sam to apologise. Because, and get this, superheroes “don’t steal porn”.
Ag, shame.
One porn star has even gone so far as to demand a boycott of Samuel L Jackson’s movies, while another is offering a stack of free online porn if Sam will just retract his comment. Wow. What an incentive.
Because porn piracy is not the internet’s fault.
It’s Samuel L Jackson’s.
