She’s got 59.1K followers and counting, and she dresses better than most adults do.
Coco, who posts under the handle @coco_pinkprincess, doesn’t wear what your typical six-year-old would. Her wardrobe seems very much devoid of Disney characters and your typical little girl garb, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have personality.
Coco’s style ranges from punk to normcore and she can rock a puffer jacket like an Instagram star three times her age!
Coco lives in the district of Harajuku in Tokyo, Japan with her family where they own a vintage store called Funktique which seems to be where she gets a lot of her great outfits from in this video on Daily Vice. Coco says her favourite thing about clothes is choosing them.
According to Vogue, Coco’s mother, Misato, says that her daughter started taking an interest in fashion from the age of three.
Being famous online can be a daunting task though. There’s a lot of pressure to keep up with everything that’s going on, and to act in a certain way which can be hard for a lot of adults, but even more so when you’re six. And being exposed to people and comments online can be dangerous - even for teenagers, nevermind six-year-olds.
But Coco seems to handling it well. Misato says they’re not pressuring Coco into anything and that her Instagram account is sort of like an after school programme.
