You know how you might look at one item from Spree.co.za and suddenly you cannot escape the likes of it no matter how hard you try?
You haven't bought the item, which is why Google makes it it's very life's work to torture and torment you with flashes of this item until you 'add it to cart'.
It's on Facebook, your favourite sites and keeps poking, poking, poking at you until you finally give in. Like a crush posting a sexy photograph or flirty message.
After Januworry ended I was desperate to cut back.
Not that I splashed out on fancy bubbles and caviar over December but it was one long month filled with many boring sandwiches.
Plus now I have decided to save for a trip overseas, which essentially means: No. More. Shopping.
Three very harsh words for someone who works in fashion and is a self-confessed jewellery-phile.
Here are 5 things currently on my radar (surprisingly, no jewellery):

And as I've been eyeing so many white blouses online recently, Big Brother is sending me more and more posts like this goodie...

I search plane tickets to Hong Kong at least once a day. I know, I'm obsessed. So today I see this pop up in a sneaky ad in my Facebook timeline: Ethiopian Airlines has a special for R6,679 to Hong Kong on Travelstart. It's screaming - c'mon, I know you wanna....

I love cooking new and interesting things which is why I tried the UCOOK water-wise campaign meal options recently. That means no water is actually used in the cooking process.
I now see UCOOK almost everywhere on my feed, almost teary-eyed, begging me to try more.
It was a really great experience as they send you a box of ingredients put together by a well-known local chef and you do the rest!
This was my before and after of Angelfish carrot curry as conceptualised by Ash Heeger of Ash restaurant in Cape Town.
