Diddy faces serious abuse allegations as rumours about his dodgy past ratchet up

He’s  one of the most powerful figures in the world of entertainment – a rapper, a composer, a record producer, an actor, a movie producer . . . the list goes on and on.

But for years allegations of abuse and harassment have followed Diddy, the man born Sean John Combs and also known over the years as Puff Daddy and P Diddy. So when yet another claim of dodgy behaviour hit the headlines, his critics wondered if this would finally be the time things went somewhere.

It had all the makings of a sensational celebrity trial: songbird Cassandra Ventura was accusing Diddy (54) of rape, sexual trafficking and repeated physical abuse. He claimed she was trying to extort him for millions.
