Actress Lindsay Lohan is not bowing down to society's pressures on new moms need to snap back to their pre-pregnancy bodies.

In a recent interview with Bustle, the 37-year-old Irish Wish actress spoke about how she is embracing her postpartum body and advised other new moms to give themselves time too.

She and her husband, financier Bader Shammas (37), welcomed their first child, Luai, last July.

"Everyone's getting so thin now. I feel like everything always comes full circle again, so this is that moment, and this too shall pass. But it does seem like there's pressure," she said.

"I was so attached to [my son] that my last thought was going on a treadmill. I feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves to have to look good so soon, but you look so beautiful [postpartum].”

“Give yourself time,” she added.

This is not the first time the Mean Girls star has spoken out about embracing her post-pregnancy body.

Last year, a month after giving birth, she took to Instagram dressed in a green cropped tank top and grey postpartum underwear, sharing a glimpse of her mom body.

"I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery," she wrote.

“My OOTD [outfit of the day] lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”

Lindsay is not only embracing her new-mom bod but is also enjoying spending time with her eight-month-old son at home.

"Right now, he just loves being outside and taking walks, so I just try to get him outside as much as I can," Lindsay told People in an interview a few weeks back.

She also revealed that her son is at the stage of grabbing things and her hair is feeling the pinch.

"He's ripping my hair out now, so I have bald spots,” she said.

Lindsay, the eldest of four siblings, is already excited to expand her family. The Parent Trap actress says she wants her son to experience the love and bond she has with her own siblings.

“I feel so blessed to have siblings to be able to hang with and talk to and relate with. I would love to have more. I want my son to have that same experience,” she said.
