The Spice Girl is counting down the days to her nuptials  and the fact that her bandmate Victoria Beckham designed one of the gowns for the glittering occasion is going to ensure it's even more special.

On a recent episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Mel B (48), who's better known as Scary Spice, revealed that Victoria created a gown for her as well as a dress for her mom.

“It’s such a beautiful honour," she said.

In addition to Posh's gown, the singer plans to wear two other dresses at different stages of her wedding festivities.

“I don't think it would be fair to just have one. Just have as many as you want,” she says.

“One to actually get married in, which is the proper ceremony — very proper at this church. And then maybe I want to change out of that and be a bit less . . . You know!”

She first hinted that Victoria would design a dress for her big day last year while speaking on Australian radio station 2DayFM.

“I already know that Victoria wants to make me a dress,” she said back then.

While Mel hasn't disclosed the wedding date she has revealed that she will wed hairstylist fiancé Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in London, which is where Princess Diana and King Charles tied the knot in 1981.

“I’m going to do it properly, by the book, in church,” says Mel, who has been married twice before.

It's not every day that someone gets to tie the knot in the cathedral but church officials agreed to perform the ceremony there because she is a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). When Mel was awarded the honour in 2022 at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace she described it as "a big deal".

“I got an MBE for all my charity work that I’ve been doing and creating awareness for all that kind of stuff,” said the singer who’s passionate about speaking against domestic violence.

“It was actually Prince William that gave me my little honorary badge. I didn’t realise how much of a big deal it was until I started reading about it and then I started getting very nervous.”

She and her fiancé will tie the knot after being together for almost five years and engaged for two.

Although the couple keep their relationship private, Mel has sung Rory's praises, saying he brings out the best in her and as a result she is "more confident than ever”.
