She’s grilled steak in a toaster, used an iron to toast cheeseburgers and cooked spaghetti and meatballs in a coffee machine. Thanks to her unconventional cooking methods, TikTok user @Itsmeju1iette has become the latest social media sensation.

Juliette, who describes herself as “master chef” in her bio, recently shared a 60-second-long clip showing her place raw steaks into a two-slice popup toaster using tongs. Moments later, the steaks pop up looking like they’ve been cooked to perfection.

The video has been viewed by more than 1,7 million times, with many social media users marvelling at her technique.

It’s not the first time she’s caused a stir in the kitchen, though. In previous videos, Juliette has shown followers how to cook hot dogs in the tumble dryer and used her hair iron to fry bacon.

Strange as it may seem, this American TikToker isn’t the only one using the social media platform to explore alternative methods of doing everyday tasks.
