After four years together, Princess Caroline’s daughter Charlotte Casiraghi has apparently ended her marriage to film producer Dimitri Rassam – and the royal beauty has already been linked to a new man.
Charlotte (37) has been spotted on several occasions in the company of French author, Nicolas Mathieu (45), one of France’s leading writers. His second book, Leurs enfants apres eau (And Their Children After Them), about a group of young people in a fictional rural French town, has won him several literary awards.

While neither party has confirmed a romantic relationship, it hasn’t stopped speculation that Charlotte, who is also a Chanel model and a top equestrian, has moved on.
According to French magazine Voici, Charlotte and Dimitri (47)separated at the end of January, a month after she requested they part ways because they “had been going through a crisis for some time”.
Insiders say Charlotte was unhappy with Dimitri’s busy work schedule which saw him away for long stretches of time. She felt he did not spend enough time at home with his family.
“Charlotte prefers Monaco, where her children attend school. But Dimitri's work requires him to be in Los Angeles, Paris and other locations,” a source told People magazine.
Dimitri, who is the son of late French actress Carole Bouquet and Franco-Lebanese film producer Jean-Pierre Rassam, has worked on such movies as The Little Prince and Three Musketeers: D’artagnan.
The two got together in December 2016 and tied the knot in two ceremonies in 2019.

They have one son Balthazar (5). Charlotte also has 10-year-old son Raphael from her ex-partner, French comedian Gad Elmaleh.
Charlotte, whose maternal grandparents were Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly, is 11th in line to the throne of Monaco.
