From Facebook to Instagram, Whatsapp to Twitter - social media has succeeded in keeping us connected almost all of the time. In the 21st century, we find ourselves living in the digital age where your life can change with the click of a button. How has the influence of constantly being plugged-in caused changes in our relationships and work personalities?

The new W24 video series, A Seat At the Table, unpacked these questions in this week's episode. The ten-part series invites three different women from three different generations to share their opinions about various topics around a table. Hosted by W24 editor Zanele Kumalo, each episode of this series focuses on a unique theme that women across the board can relate to.

The seventh episode of this series explored social media and the panellists included Mikhe Coetzee, a production manager at VPH Films; Allana Foster Finley, a business developer at Global Citizen; and Mia Ziervogel, a publisher and editor-in-chief of Dossier.

Congratulations to our winners of the previous competition on the traditions episode: Larnelle Young and Unathi Nkanjeni!
