Anna had been on Tinder for six months before she got exhausted by the way in which men virtually treated her like a piece of meat.
So she got revenge the one way an artist knew how: She drew naked pics of the slime balls and posted them on her Instagram.
She told BuzzFeed that because she was an artist, her weapon for revenge was art. Art was the best way for her to make the men on Tinder feel as objectified as she did.
She achieved the ultimate vengeance by drawing the men in unfavourable ways. They were drawn with bigger bellies in order to appear more unflattering than in their profile pics.
Anna even opened an account on OkCupid in order for her to get more material for her work. She told Slate that she thought that by having a disclaimer on her account that this would prevent douche-lords from provoking her to retaliate. Nope.
This did not happen. Instead her disclaimer which said that if she was sent rude messages that she would draw naked pics of the dudes resulted in guys asking her to draw them naked.
This resulted in Anna sending the bigots pictures of their naked selves with their reactions on the portrait.
Some of them got irate, duh:
Others replied in a thoughtful manner:
I haven’t joined Tinder yet. In the words of Beyonce, this single lady is gonna “put my hands up!” And wait a while before I join Tinder.
One of my friends who recently got back from teaching English in South Korea told me that online dating is huge there and is really safe. She was surprised that Tinder only really picked up here recently.
My tjommie’s online hook-ups didn’t result in any of them “putting a ring on it” but she is pro online dating in a significant way.
