Twitter responds to Nkandla report

Nkandla, President Jacob Zuma’s private homestead in Kwa-Zulu Natal, has been making headlines for the last few weeks, leading to a decision from the cabinet to order a full report from an inter-ministerial task team to be released to the public.

During the report, Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi told journalists that the security upgrades at Nkandla were a necessity. He insisted that no state funds had been used to build the private homestead.Nxesi also said that fear of fire outbreaks due to the homestead’s thatched roofs called for a swimming pool or “fire pool” to be built.
