Last year, Celebville lost their designated Fashion Police commander-in-chief, the unstoppable Joan Rivers. She offered us the most ruthless, foul-mouthed content one could ever dream of. It was great.
The often-controversial show made jokes that were, at times, so offensive that you found yourself doing that wide-eyed “oh my gosh” laugh.
With that said, comedienne Kathy Griffin seemed like the perfect replacement for Rivers.
A month ago, following some controversial racist comments made by co-host Giuliana Rancic about singer and actress Zendaya at the Oscars, Kelly Osbourne decided to quit the show.
Kathy Griffin announced her decision to leave on Twitter, citing "creative differences" as the main reason:
As much as I agree with Kathy’s statement, there’s a small part of me that is just baffled by all these people leaving the show.
Have they never watched the show? Do they not know that mean jokes are the main reason why people watch Fashion Police? We thought they knew exactly what the show is all about: shaming and roasting celebrities.
E! Entertainment has since confirmed Kathy's sudden departure in a press release, and Fashion Police will continue to air leaving Brad Goreski, Giuliana Rancic and Melissa Rivers as co-hosts.
But the more important question is, who should replace Kathy Griffin?
