Finally! Nude flats for all skin tones

accreditation
From Nude #1 porcelain to Nude # 7 deep chocolate, renowned shoe-maker Christian Louboutin has launched the Solasofia flats range sporting a new design and various shades of "nude" suited to match every skin tone. But it boasts exclusivity at a steep price of R 8755 ($595) a pair. Ouch!

“Nude” is generally known to come in shades of beige and very light pink – which, let's face it, is not very racially inclusive. Louboutin’s range is considered to be “true-to-life” as it matches most skin colours.

Louboutin says that the shoes are meant to accentuate the silhouette and, in particular, the legs. He admits that it’s not about the shoe, but rather about the person wearing it and how great they feel in it.

It’s quite discouraging that a luxury brand has finally created wearable and seemingly comfortable flats in "nude" at a price this hefty. But it really is a gorgeous shoe and we can’t help loving it.
