You know when you want to wear mascara and liquid eyeliner, but you're not keen on repeatedly running to the bathroom for touch-ups and to fix all the smudging?
Essence has products that are perfect for you, the Waterproof liquid eyeliner pen and Maximum volume mascara.
Nothing is more annoying than eye make-up that runs, smudges and mysteriously disappears, so I love both of these products for the one, simple reason that they last.
The Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen is easily my favourite of the two. It's easy to apply and, unlike many eye-liner pens, it doesn't start to dry out almost from the second time you use it.
While Essence's Maximum Volume Mascara does what it advertises - offers maximum volume - the one drawback it has is it clumps. Not terribly, but just enough to involve a miniature battle every time you apply.
Thankfully, however, the lasting power this mascara has does mean you probably won't have to apply it more than once a day.
At under R40 each, both of these products are amazing value for money. All in all, a great performance from Essence!
