15 beauty products that made our faces ridiculously happy in 2017

accreditation

1. Nimue range

I recently took up a 12 week skin challenge with Nimue. After a few weeks of using one skincare brand and going for monthly facials I could really see the difference. My skin was always good but lacked hydration. After I had my skin assessed by the experts at Nimue, I was provided with products suited to my skin and recommended facials that suit my skin needs. It has been a true awakening to me to see the beauty of products and facials working together to create skin that doesn't even now require foundation.

2. SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel, R1,325 at Dermastore.co.za.

The ideal summer holiday accessory, this hydrating serum works to restore moisture lost due to the harsh elements like the African sun.

3. Urban Decay Complex Primer De-Slick, R450, Foschiniforbeauty.co.za

This is one of my all-time mascara hits! It's tricky to find a good mascara, even with all those options out there. Invest in this one, it'll also last you over 4 months.

Retinol + eye area = gold! This product is my favourite eye cream and if I could I would use it all over my face!

Go for the SPF50 gurls. Your skin will thank you later. This one is also very handy as it is a spray-on sunscreen - plus the scent is divine. Bonus! No normal suncreen smell thanks.

This light-weight sunscreen is another winner at a bit of a lower price point. Great for the face.

The best fragrance to come out of 2017 for sure. It smells like all my hopes and dreams, only realised.

I stopped wearing deodorants containing aluminum recently and this has been the best natural deo I've found so far.
