Lately, I have been seeing more and more people share post-workout pics on Instagram with their lipstick completely untouched by perspiration. Are they superhuman? Have they tattooed their pout bright red? No. They are simply wearing long-lasting lipstick.
Lipsticks have evolved so much over the years that we simply cannot keep up. Is it a stain, a gloss, a lipstick or a combination of all of them? But the only thing that really matters, let's be honest, is how it looks and how it makes you feel.
I certainly won't advise that you cake on the foundation before doing a 21km run around the Cape Peninsula. You might just resemble a melted candle come Camps Bay.
But a bold lip paired with a clean, minimalist makeup face has become very much the look of now. And you can even pull this off at the gym.
Here are a few gym-approved lipsticks to wear as you sweat like Jay-Z after listening to Lemonade.
