Strobing, aka highlighting, is on the up-and-up – proving to be quite the multipurpose product. You can use liquid, powder or even a stick highlighter to get your look, and here’s why:
1. The dewy look is still in
The barely there makeup look is still blazing the runways, and we all know what the main trick to achieving that look is- highlighting!
2. It’s an instant solution to dry looking skin
No, it’s not going to hydrate your skin – but if you want an artificial sheen, strobing will definitely do the trick. Apply it on your cheek bones, bridge of your nose, chin and collarbone. Opt for a liquid highlighter instead, so it doesn’t cake on your skin.
3. It lights up the face
A face with a bit of sparkle lights up a whole room! Not only does highlighting brighten up your face, but it helps you look more youthful too.
4. It brightens the eyes
Applying highlighter with an eyeshadow brush on the inner corners of your eye instantly brightens them up, making them appear bigger.
5. It can give the illusion of fuller lips
Apply highlighter on your cupids bow for instantly fuller-looking lips. You can do this if you’re wearing lipstick or just lip gloss.
6. It lifts the brows
This is a great trick. Usually the highlighter would be from the eyeshadow palette but you can also use the same highlighter that you use on your face, eyes and cupid’s bow.
