Gaga, born Stefani
Germanotta, filed for the trademark back in February. In the application, it’s
revealed that the cosmetic line will include products such as foundations,
eyeliners and fragrances.
While the cosmetics line will be her first foray into the business side of beauty products, she’s no stranger to the beauty industry. In 2009 and 2010 the petite singer participated in M.A.C’s Viva Glam campaign which included lipstick and lip gloss shades to raise money for Aids research.
Two years later she released her first fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, in collaboration with Coty. Then in 2014 she released a unisex perfume called Eau de Gaga which she said was “for the adventurous woman and the man who loves her”.
While no details have been announced about when the new cosmetics line will drop, Lady Gaga has been giving her 28,3 million Instagram followers previews of her new venture.
