Of course, not everyone celebrates Christmas. And all of those who do, spend and celebrate it in their own unique way, often how they’ve been taught to value it. So really, in theory, it doesn’t have to measure up to other people’s day or way of celebrating.

Invite a friend
Having a few glasses of wine with a friend who’s also going it alone can be ideal. Just be safe and make sure you don’t have to drive anywhere.
(Also, Uber might have a massive surge charge on Christmas day.)
Or head outside together
Lucky for us residing in the southern hemisphere, it’s nice and toasty already without us having to light a fireplace. So head into nature for a walk or a picnic with a friend. In other words, just take the wine outside.
