How we met:
I was doing my matric year and it was 40 days. We had a party (like most matrics do) and one of the other students invited his nephew along (Tertius) and it was love at first sight. When we saw each other, that was it.
After matric, I went to Pretoria to study and he came along. We lived in Pretoria for 3 years and have now been back in the Northern Cape for 2 years.

How he proposed:
Our anniversary is on the 19th of November. He booked me into the spa on our anniversary in 2015.
After I had been pampered from head to toe he sat outside with a picnic set up and everything. There was a big box that was my "present" and he told me to open it so I did.
It was far to big for a ring, but when I finally came to the small present in the huge box, he fell to his knees and asked me to marry him.
It was the best proposal ever.

Date of the wedding:
We got married on the 19th of November 2016 .

Behind the scenes :
We agreed on silver, turquoise, white and a little bit of black as the colours for the wedding.

I love butterflies which is why I decided on that, along with diamonds as a theme.
The wedding was absolutely amazing and everything I had dreamed of. I would definitely do it again.
