Cao Mingbao (33) and blushing bride Jiang Jinbo (30) decided to say “I do” at the Honglian Cemetery in Liaoning.

It was the second trip down the aisle for both newlyweds, local media reports. Cao had lost his first wife to cancer while his Jiang is divorced.

The pair met in 2016 after Cao was diagnosed with leukaemia and Jiang agreed to take care of him. They soon fell in love and, thankfully, Cao was declared cancer-free in 2017.

He then went to live with his mother who works at the cemetery, which is run by a close family friend.

After Cao started helping his mom maintain the cemetery grounds, Jiang left her job to work alongside him.

When they decided to get married the happy couple chose their place of work as the scene for their wedding day, on 17 October.

“The cemetery sees our love every day so we decided to hold our wedding service here,” Cao said.

“Our marriage begins here and will end here, keeping us together forever on these grounds.”
