How far will you go for great engagement photos?
How far will you go for great engagement photos?

Your girlfriend steps in as a hand model, of course.

This became the case when a young man proposed to his girlfriend. The young woman hadn't expected the proposal and hadn't got a manicure. Luckily for her, her cousin's nails were freshly done and she was more than willing to step in as a hand model.

All in the name of good engagement pictures, you know.

The young woman, @goodgaljenjen took to Twitter to share the pictures of the beautiful and funny moment with a caption that read "“My cousin’s boyfriend proposed to her but she didn’t have her nails done lmao."

In the pictures she can be seen holding her hand up while wearing her cousin's engagement ring to give the illusion that it was actually the young bride to be's hand.

The good willed cousin goes on to explain that the bride to be is a nurse and rarely ever gets her nails done. She also says that the marriage proposal was a complete surprise.

Twitter users however had mixed feelings about the unconventional wedding proposal pictures.

Some users commended the young woman for her willingness to step in and help the couple.

While others expressed dismay at someone else wearing their engagement ring before them.

Some young women even said that they didn't want to be proposed to if their nails weren't done. Personally, I share these sentiments. Don't judge.
