Love stories for people who don't like reading romance

There are many kinds of romance stories out there.

From love stories that chronicle the meet-cute and finding your soul mate novels, to the ones that celebrate self-love, familial love and bonds of friendship, there’s a book that celebrates almost every kind of love out there.

Of course, not everyone loves romance but even so, for those that don’t there are stories that have significant plots but feature love stories as a backdrop.

For me, this is the perfect kind of novel to recommend to people who aren’t keen on reading novels with that kind of sentimentality which is why we’ve compiled a list that has a few books that will appeal to non-romance lovers:
