The SAPS got a bit trigger happy recently and shot at an innocent man. SA hip hop artist, Khuli Chana, was driving in Midrand when police started firing at his vehicle. According to Eye Witness News, five of the six bullets missed Khuli, but one hit him on his finger.
And, of course, the twitterverse has managed to find humour in the situation.
We can only hope that the police involved in this case of ‘mistaken identity’ are brought to justice and that measures will be taken by the SAPS to prevent such incidences from happening again.
In the mean time, we look forward to Khuli’s speedy recovery and maybe he can write something about it.
