Are the love tattoos that Kelly Khumalo and Ariana Grande have inked ever a good idea?

Kelly Khumalo announced her engagement to rapper Chad Mansoor, also known as Chad Da Don, with a picture of their engagement tattoos.

Her tattoo on the ring finger reads D.C.M and his reads K.K, both topped with royal crowns.

Such a grand way to announce their engagement.

Kelly is obviously not the first celeb to get inked for love. Even Beyoncé got matching tattoos of the Roman numeral four with her husband Jay Z to commemorate their wedding.

During their performance at the Global Citizen Festival, it sometimes felt like it was a continued celebration of their commitment to each other especially after working through the serious problems they've each addressed in their marriage.

Ariana Grande has reportedly altered a tattoo of hers recently, a tattoo that was linked to her former fiancé Pete Davidson. On her Thank u, next behind the scenes video, Ariana Grande showed off her ‘new’ Myron tattoo. Refinery29 reported that Myron is the name of the dog of her former boyfriend Mac Miller. 

This tattoo covers what is reported to have been a tribute tattoo of the firefighter badge number of Pete Davidson’s late father, with the number 8418 tattooed on her foot, which Pete also had tattooed on his forearm.

Another celeb who has inked for love is Kylie Jenner. Her recent ‘love tattoo’ is a matching butterfly tat with her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott. She previously covered up a tattoo of a cursive “t” on her leg that was reported to be for her former boyfriend Tyga.

One of the sweetest couple tattoos are those belonging to fashion designer Victoria Beckham and her husband David Beckham. The couple reportedly have multiple tattoos dedicated to each other and to their children.

On the inside of one of her wrists, Victoria has a tattoo of the letters “DB” and David Beckham has a decorative tattoo of “Victoria” on the back of his hand. These are followed by many tattoos of their children.

We obviously cannot forget the grandest gesture of all when Jhené Aiko tattooed a portrait of the face of her rumoured bae Big Sean on her arm. She later covered this tattoo with big dragon art.

Dedicating a tattoo to your significant other seems to be a love language for many celebrities.
