Nomzamo Mbatha has had an experience of a lifetime in New York. “Truly, these past few days have been amazing!” she tells DRUM.
Currently in New York for the launch of Puma’s En Pointe collection, inspired by the New York City Ballet (NYCB), Nomzamo has had a ballet experience she’ll never forget.
The NYCB is one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world and the Lockdown star had backstage access, and got to witness a performance, at the David H Kock Theatre.
Between this and private lunches, the 27-year-old found the time to share her most memorable snaps. Here are some of her private keepers that she’s shared exclusively with DRUM:
1. Nomzamo got to meet the ballerinas while they rehearsed – and showed us that she may have some ballerina toes herself!

In between it all, Nomzamo found the time to work out on her new yoga mat. Clearly, fitness never sleeps!
3. And on Tuesday evening, she got to witness the New York City Ballet perform All Balanchine No 2 at the David H Koch Theatre at the Lincoln Centre.
Nomzamo relished chatting to the dancers before the performance and also taking to the stage herself – never take little moments for granted, she says.
