The most you'd ever expect a reason to place Michelle Obama, former FLOTUS and George W. Bush former POTUS in the same whatsapp group is that they've lived in the White House.

The pair, though has developed an unlikely bond over the years despite their political differences. They've been photographed together numerous times and their tradition of candy sneaking is adorable.

Recently, at the state funeral of his father, George W. is seen greeting dignitaries and then appears to secretly hand something to Michelle who quickly closes her fist and smiles.

The former First Lady opened up about her friendship with Bush on the Today show saying, “We’re together all the time”

In this InStyle article, she's quoted saying, “[President Bush] is my partner in crime at every major thing where all the ‘formers’ gather,” she said. “I love him to death. He’s a wonderful man. He’s a funny man.”

Bush also explained his fondness for Michelle to People Magazine, announcing that Michelle likes his sense of humour. “Anybody who likes my sense of humour, I immediately like" he said.

Celebville has shown us some rather unusual but epic friendships, from the slightly unexpected to the downright seemingly misplaced ones.

As clichéd as it is, we believe friendships are the most beautiful thing that can grow between two people, no matter how bizarre some of them may seem. Here is a list of some of the sweetest ones we could have never predicted:

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj

The two superstars and musicians call each other at odd hours of the morning.

We appreciate the hit music they give us, however Nicki and Ariana have a sisterly relationship we would have never predicted.

When Ariana tweeted about her love for Minaj, fans thought she was hinting at new music, but she corrected everyone making it clear that they have a relationship outside of music. “That ain’t lyrics i’m just talkin about my big sis” she tweeted.

Naomi Campbell and the late Nelson Mandela

A celebrity friendship between British model and the first black South African president is the most unlikely we have ever witnessed. Naomi Campbell says she met the late president Nelson Mandela in 1994 when she was in the country hosting Miss World.

After she got off the stage she was invited to meet Madiba and his family, she says “I had no idea that I would later have a relationship like granddaughter-grandfather.”

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart

Has there ever been a celebrity friendship more improbable than Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart? The pair get along well and are teaching us a thing or two about different generations developing meaningful friendships.

According to People Magazine, they have been friends since 2008 when Snoop Dogg was a guest on Stewart’s show.

“She lets me do me and accepts me for who I am” says SnoopSpeaking to CBS News

Martha says hanging out with Snoop and his friends is good for her brand: "Oh, I'm so famous now, when I'm seen, I mean, everybody says 'Hello' to me, and I'm Martha to everyone. First-name basis. I know how Oprah must feel because she's a first-name also, and it's nice."
