Ever since the news broke that The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her and Prince William's third child, a baby boy, our feeds have been flooded, nay inundated with images of the couple and other news (whether real or imaginary) surrounding this special moment.

Yet Twitter has been lit with its own theories. Naturally. Asking, in fact whether Kate's dress, a white lace collar by Jenny Packham paired with nude Gianvito Rossi heels according to GoodHousekeeping.com, was some sort of homage to Diana.
A comparison: 1984 vs. 2018
See, Diana wore this dress in 1984, after the birth of Prince Harry, to meet the press. Diana, the Princess of Wales wore a warmer look as it was September in the UK, a red jacket over a collared layer with a matching pair of low red heels.
