Last night the 46th Annual International Emmy Awards took place at the New York Hilton Midtown, New York City, where excellence and outstanding performances in International television are celebrated and honoured.
Local actress Thuso Mbedu, who stars on Isithunzi as Winnie Bengu made her second appearance on this red carpet last night after her inaugural recognition by the academy in 2017, where she was nominated in the 'Best Performance by an Actress' category. This year's nomination was no different, as she continues to put on a stellar performance on the only African show that was nominated at the Awards.
