Wardrobe challenge: 1 suit worn 3 ways

accreditation

The suit

Not only is the grey check suit iconic, it is as versatile as denim. Invest in one to wear to basically every imaginable occasion or activity (except a workout of course).

I found this one at H&M

Nice, hey?

Not too pricey and the fit was pretty good.

Single-breasted jacket, R629.

Check trousers, R379.

These tailored check trousers by Poetry, R699 are also life.

And if you prefer an oversized blazer to a fitted one, go for this Cotton On piece, R699.

Look 1: Casual chic

Wear trousers and a white tee; add some block heels (for a touch of effort).

Also add...

A basket bag for a nice finishing touch, Zara, R559.

Here are some nice shoe options that will make your outfit look polished but not overly dressed-up. (The Cape Town look if you will)

MRP mustard block heels, R159,99.

Or these Zara platform sneakers, R759.

Just casual

Add an oversized statement jersey, tie your hair into a topknot and add some nice sneakers.

Or go very cosy...

Add a permanent snuggle buddy to your body in the form of a puffer. This one is from H&M.

But there are options everywhere!

Mustard puffer, R599, Cotton On.

Wear it with...

Air Max Jewell, NIKE, R1599.

Or even some grunge boots by MRP, R239.99.

Look 2: Smart-casual/smart

Again, this is Cape Town smart (Lols!). Joburg gals, you can can call this smart casual :)

Add a shocking colour to your ensemble; I love this mustard hue.

Wear it with...

Heels obvs and some killa jewels. Take your pick from Zara.

Or go local and get yourself some lovely sparkles from Henriette Botha's latest collection.
