Tracee Ellis Ross. We all adore her, absolutely!
Whether it's her quirky, funny personality as Rainbow Johnson on Blackish, or her amazing energy as a host at the American Music Awards, we can't help but swoon every time we see her.

I have to start by saying: this was not easy. How can I, a mere mortal, imitate a style goddess, who invents colours we never knew existed or could be mixed until she wore them; and who oozes drama and simplicity at the same time?
I soldiered from store to store, trying to find the right clothes to embody Tracee. "Think bright and bold colours; flowy dresses, and neon," I told myself.
It took me quite a while but once I got into the hang of it, I had so much fun. Who knew that dressing up in so many vibrant colours would make me feel so alive? Tracee knew.
She's known all along.

Her fictional name is not a coincidence. A lot of Tracee's outfits are remembered for their bold colours, so I gave a few outfits a shot.
Because Tracee wears a lot of designer clothes, I thought I should find items that won't dent the wallet. The skirt is R899 at YDE.
When I saw the top with flare sleeves, it reminded me of Sabrina Claudio's top in one of her music videos, so I went for it.

What's Tracee Ellis fashion without a bit of fun?
I have NEVER worn animal print, but she posted a picture of herself in a full leopard print ensemble and captioned it 'doing the most', so the most is what I did - or tried to do.
