Trevor Stuurman and Simon and Mary are bringing us fez fierceness

Well-known photographer, creative director and stylist Trevor Stuurman has collaborated with established hat creators Simon and Mary for a special hat collection.

The bold, unisex Fez collection is crafted from wool felt and is available at The Space stores. The collection pays homage to Ndebele culture and the hats come in lively red, mint, yellow, pink, blue and black.

“Wide-brimmed hats became a staple for a lot of people, but the Fez collection is refreshing and different,” says Stuurman.

“Initially, I had the fez custom-made for myself. It was something I wanted to wear, but didn’t have access to in the market. From then on, there was a huge online demand for it on Instagram,” the Kimberley-born creative told Between 10and5.
