How to recreate Rodarte's beautiful spring looks from NYFW

accreditation

Remember when flower crowns were a thing you'd wear at a music festival then forget about promptly after? Well they're back and more high fashion than ever. First Rihanna and Beyoncé stunned in extravagant floral headpieces for British Vogue and Vogue but now the trend has made its way onto NYFW's runways.

Rodarte sent their models down impeccably manicured lawns at their Spring/Summer 2019 show with floral arrangements in their hair.

According to Vogue, hairstylist Odile Gilbert wove fresh rosebuds and garlands of varying colours and sizes into the model's hairdo's, creating 48 breathtaking looks that took about five hours to complete.

The flowers were embellished with various metallic accessories like birds and crowns. The final aesthetic can only be described as romantically ethereal. Odile told Fashionista that her inspiration was "Romantic!"
