The cover of the June 2017 issue of Vogue Arabia will be graced by Halima Aden and insiders have suggested that this may be the best cover shoot the magazine has done thus far.

On the cover we see Aden getting the final touches of her makeup done, while voguing effortlessly for photographer, Greg Kadel. This image is accompanied by a fitting tagline for the Muslim community's Holy Month of Ramadan; "Celebrating identity."

Vogue Arabia's new Editor-in-Chief, Manuel Arnaut, says the Somali-American model was the perfect cover star for their "Celebrating Identity" issue, which is all about putting the deserved spotlight on Arab talent, fashion heritage and craftsmanship.

Using Halima Aden, an internationally celebrated model, who is known for proudly proclaiming that her hijab is her crown, is a long-awaited and much appreciated move from the magazine - Vogue Arabia has come a long way since its first issue which upset the internet earlier this year.
