Hoops

Thick gold hoops have been taking over our Instagram feeds, but slim, big hoops are also trickling in.

Honestly, I am way too afraid to wear these. I would live in fear of them catching on something - earlobe health first!

But I see women slaying these all the time (even in crowded spaces like clubs where arms tend to go flying about), so more power to you if you are able to make it work.

Shop:

Witchery hoops, R 301.62.

Faux fur scarves

I almost bought one theses the other day for no other reason but to up my fancy factor.

So soft and luxe.

Shop:

Zara scarf, R379.

Scandinavian specs and tiny sunnies

Ray-Ban recently dropped a range of specs for prescription lenses (or if you don't need glasses, you can get them just to block artificial blue-light), that, once placed upon one's face basically turns you into an honorary Dane cycling the streets of Copenhagen, I swear!

Minimalism perfected, the Nordic way.

The tiny sunnies trend is also still going strong and can really have such a dramatic effect on any outfit.

'Plastic' earrings

I've been gaga over polymer clay and acrylic resin earrings now for a while. I mean, how pretty?!
