Lights flashing, unexplained rattling sounds, alarms going off... These things - like your car failing to budge – usually occurs at the worst of times and when we least expect it.
Generally, a no-start situation is due to an obsolete battery. But, if your battery's still good, if it is clean and habitually maintained, then the problem could be one – or more - of these:
• You left the headlights on.
• You left the inside light on.
• The ignition switch could be the problem.
• A loose or damaged electrical connection.
• A poor starter.
• A faulty coil.
• A damaged distributor cap.
• A damaged fuel pump.
• A clogged fuel filter.
