Succulents are easy to maintain, long-lasting and need very little water and care.
In short, they are perfect for a small, no-fuss indoor or balcony garden. Grouped together they can create a statement piece for your home.

Here's how to make your own:
1. Choose a deep box-style frame (buy one second hand, or convince your mom to give you an old one of hers). You can spray this any colour to brighten up a room.
2. Cover the mounting board with a layer of small pebbles/stones (you can find these at most nurseries and pet shops for cheap-cheap). The pebbles are for drainage. Don’t skip this step!
3. Add a layer of soil and cover with mesh. Plant your succulents and group them together. Spray (don’t water) once a week to keep them happy.
