accreditation

Travel is always fun, but before you jet off to that next location you need to make sure a few things are sorted out – like your accommodation. For this you could decide to stay in a hotel, a hostel, poshtel, guesthouse or get an AirBnB.

But not all AirBnBs are made equal. Some of them are weird and others are quite wonderful, while sleeping in a parking lot is just plain strange.

Take a look at the list of weird and wonderful places you could stay in if you travelled the world:

Live like a famous author

If you’re a fan of the Great Gatsby or anything to do with the Jazz age, then you’ll definitely know who F Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda were. Their books, and the movies and television that have been inspired by them can only bring their world so much closer to you though; if you want the real deal then why not stay in their former home?

Now you can book a stay at their family home in Montgomery, Alabama, USA. Travel + Leisure reports that the home opened to the public on Airbnb in April, so if you’re making plans to the U.S. anytime soon and want to swing by there, you can be part of the first group of people to stay in the home of a legendary author and take advantage of a one of a kind experience.

The beautiful home where the couple wrote some of their most notable works has two bedrooms and easily sleeps four guests, plus it’s connected to the Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum, making it the perfect getaway for a group of aspiring writers looking to draw inspiration.
