Add colour to your winter wardrobe

Winter clothes often come in dark and sombre colours, but designers have changed this perception as riveting colourful pieces ruled the runways and left us in awe. Designer Marc Jacobs gave us bursts of colour at his Winter/Autumn 18/19 collection, and showed that colours such as yellow, red and green are must-haves in your wardrobe.

Here’s how to incorporate brighter hues into your winter cupboard:

1. Coats

A coat can keep us warm and fashionable. Right? Make a striking statement like influencer, Siyanda Dzenga, who served us with this lime green coat. We love it!

2. Leather pants

Rock a leather ensemble for a funky look. We’ve spotted actress, Enhle Mbali, and influencer, Mihlali Ndamase, rocking colourful leather and we must say, they’re looking super stylish.

3. Beret

A bold beret is arguably the best headwear essential. It keeps you warm and fashionably finishes off an oufit.

4. Boots

The Fendi Winter 18/19 collection made us relook our old black boots and revamp our shoe collection.
