From the pairings we think are a match made in heaven to ones we’re all baffled by, we always patiently wait for the – often – dramatic break-ups or the extravagant weddings we’re never invited to (we’re talking about you Somhale!).
Whether or not a celebrity couple will stay together forever or if they’re just incompatible is something we’d all secretly love to know, so we looked to the stars to see if our favourite local celebs are truly meant to be.
Finding out if two people are compatible using just their sun signs (which most people know as their main zodiac sign, the aspect of your chart that signifies your ego) is not enough to truly calculate compatibility, astrologer Lisa Stardust wrote in The Oprah Magazine. To calculate this, we’d need a whole astrological chart – that is knowing as their moon sign, which shapes their emotional private self and their rising sign, which shapes the face they show to the world.However, the sun signs can give a brief overlook into which signs are more compatible than others, which is what we’ll be doing.

Mmabatho Montsho (Libra) and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi (Taurus)
Air and earth come together in this unusual pairing but their love for art, culture and intellectualism is what brings them together. According to Astrology.com, both signs are ruled by Venus, the planet that governs love, beauty and money – which both of these celebs have in abundance.
According to Allure, as a Libra, Mmabatho naturally values intellectual stimuli, balance and is great at launching initiatives so it’s not surprising that she won an award for her film The Award Ceremony recently and is one of the most respected actresses in the country.
