A bridezilla demanded her guests fork out a minimum of R5 000 on lavish wedding gifts.
The bride-to-be, whose name isn’t known, took to social media recently to share a list of lavish items she wants her friends and family to purchase for her big day later this month, Mirror reports.
The list included kitchen appliances, clothes from high-end boutiques, beauty products and even a car, The Sun reports.
She also created a spreadsheet to ensure that guests don’t duplicate any gifts.
“So we’re all aware that my wedding is coming up in October. To all those coming to my wedding, there is a list of gifts that you can bring. You must choose from the list or consult me first. There are no exceptions,” she wrote on Reddit.
“Any KitchenAid appliances must over $350 (R5 250). This doesn’t mean regular kitchen items such as an apron or spatula. I’m talking about their stand mixer, blender, etc.
“Any Gucci or Louis Vuitton purses. Other purses are allowed but please consult me first. Any clothes over $400 (R6 000) from Calvin Klein, Moschino, or Nora’s

“New floor tiles for the entire house (I know this one is a bit of a stretch, but I’d gladly appreciate it).
“A new car or a new trim for my car, or anything in relation to the car.”
The woman added that she’ll accept lower amounts only if guests inform her well in advance, News.com.au reports.

Social media users who were gobsmacked at her requests, took to the comment section to voice their opinions.
“All the gifts are about her (clothes, purses). Who buys someone a purse for their wedding gift?” one person commented.
“I’d show up with whatever I thought she’d like that I could afford and if I’m turned away at the door I’ll return my gift and get my money back,” another person said.
