Question
I’m 25 and I have a man in my life who loves me and takes care of me. My problem is I’m finding it very hard to commit to him. It’s just too easy for me to cheat on him. Does this mean I have a problem?
Answer
It’s good that you’re acknowledging how good he is to you and how much he loves you. Maybe you need to ask yourself why you’re not finding contentment in this relationship. Your behavior seems to indicate that even though you
seem to believe all’s well in the relationship, there’s actually something missing. By cheating, you’re filling a gap that’s there. Or maybe you think you love him but in all honesty you don’t.
Otherwise how could it be so easy for you to disregard his feelings and disrespect him by cheating? I suggest you do some introspection and be honest with yourself.
If you can’t change what you’re doing and commit to him then maybe the best thing is to end the relationship. If you can’t make a decision about this then just put yourself in his shoes and imagine how it would feel if he did the same thing to you
