Noami, who recently ended her four-month fling with singer Liam Payne, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram about her 33-year journey in the fashion industry that naysayers expected not to last.
“I feel so blessed and grateful to God. I never thought that there would be a day when I would even convey such a message on social media!” Naomi wrote next to a snap of her much-younger self, taken by renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel.
The model also extended words of gratitude to her mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell, who believed in her from the age of three. “Your love and support has kept me going through good and bad times. I love you mum [sic].”

The Global Citizen Ambassador also thanked her family and friends for sticking with her “through thick and thin” and revealed she was on a mission to nurture the next generation.
“A mission to ensure that my industry – the fashion industry – is a place that’s diverse and of equal opportunity and I’m on a mission to change the narrative and perception of the great continent of Africa!”
She ended off saying, “I do believe that I will rest when God wants me to, but until then I’ll keep going!”
