A fitness blogger celebrating the first anniversary of quitting her breast implants is warning women of the potential dangers of going under the knife.

Sia Cooper (29) started feeling sick four years ago. Her hair began falling out in clumps, her fingers swelled and she was constantly exhausted no matter how many hours of sleep she got the night before.

The mother of two thought her condition was caused by post-partum depression when doctors told her nothing was medically wrong and blood tests came back negative, Inside Edition reports.

“I was like, ‘Could it be my implants?’” she told the news magazine.

“I started getting ill around the time I was getting my implants, so it sparked my curiosity.

“Not everybody is going to let a foreign object live inside without any side effects.”

Sia decided to take a gamble and had the implants removed last December.

Within days she saw improvements to her health.

The fitness blogger took to Instagram on Wednesday to commemorate her implant removal with her more than 1,1 million followers and wants women to beware of the dangers of breast implants, Fox News reports.

“I cannot believe it’s been one freaking year since I removed my breast implants,” Sia captioned a photo of herself holding up the removed objects.

“Last year I found myself on what honestly felt like the verge of death. I was 29 feeling like I was trapped in an 80-year-old’s body.”

The blogger warned women to do their research before deciding to get breast implants.

According to a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) report, implants could potentially cause cancer.

“The cosmetic surgery is a billion [dollar] industry that preys on the insecurities of women,” Sia added.

“Removing my implants has taught me to [love] myself and my body more than ever.

“I mean, the grass isn’t always green with bigger boobs.”
