Rhythm City actress Samkelo Ndlovu is enjoying every minute of being a mom despite no longer being with the father of her child.
She revealed on the MacG Unleashed podcast that she has a great relationship with her ex. The Daily Sun revealed that model, Sello Nhlapho is the actress's baby daddy in 2017.
Samkelo made it clear that there’s no bad blood between them and explained that they still care about each other. However, they’re just not in love.

“We’re co-parenting pretty well. We have a great relationship. He is travelling a lot. He’s always out of the country. We don’t exactly have the time for each other. He’s got a lot of time for his daughter. We love each other and we’re cool. We are fine. I love him. He loves me. We just not in love,” she explained.
Samkelo says she’s always wanted to be a mother. but, as life would have it, nothing went according to her plan.
“I’m turning 30. I wanted to be a mom at 26 and it didn’t happen. My child is a blessing that’s why her second name is Ngelosi which means Angel in Xhosa and Zulu,” she said.
In a previous interview with Drum, Samelo expressed how she is loving motherhood.
“Motherhood has been quite a fulfilling special road so far,” Samkelo said. “I’m so in love with her [her daughter] and would not trade this for anything in the world.”
Samkelo is notorious for keeping her cards close to her chest when it come to her personal life. The actress has not been romantically linked to anyone ever since Sello. She confirmed to MacG that she’s currently not dating.
“I’m single. Sh*t I shouldn’t have said that. I am not back in the market like that, I’m just really taking things slow. I don’t have time for men and stuff,” she said.
Other than motherhood and being Lerato on Rhythm City, she promised to also venture into music. She said she’s working on an album but is nervous about the reception. “I hope people don’t say, please can she stick to acting. That’s my biggest fear. That’s why I’m so pedantic about everything,” she confessed.
