We haven’t seen much of Selena Gomez lately but despite her choosing to keep a low profile, she’s stepped out in a gorgeous outfit to attend her cousin’s wedding in Midlothian, Texas.
The 26-year-old singer and actress looked chic in a black off-the-shoulder gown while playfully posing for pics at the ceremony, ELLE reports.
Selena was her cousin Priscilla DeLeon’s maid of honour and delivered a heartfelt speech.
“You taught me to be strong for anything in life that happens,” she told Priscilla and her groom, Jay Cosme.
“I pray for you guys all the time,” she added.
Though she once again looked amazing in her glamorous apparel, the I Can’t Get Enough hit-maker said in an interview a few months ago that she doesn’t like people focusing on her looks too much, Cosmopolitan reports.
“I don’t really appreciate people judging me on my looks or anything like that . . . I’m flattered when maybe guys are like, ‘You’re pretty.’ I am, but it’s just . . . I would just love someone to love me for the person that I am,” she said.
As part of her maid of honour duties, Selena threw her cousin’s bachelorette party earlier this month. She took Priscilla and her friends on vacation to Punta Mita in Mexico.
Priscilla shared some snaps from the trip on Instagram, Billboard reports.
“My maid of honour really showed out this weekend and threw me the bachelorette party of my dreams. I’m forever grateful,” she wrote alongside a photo of her and Selena on the beach.
While the star didn’t post any pics from the wedding on any of her own social-media platforms, guests and family members posted pictures they took with her, and it looked like she was having a blast.
