WATCH: Father of the bride’s speech turns into an action movie

Steven Stipetic from Gateshead in England surprised his daughter Laura Finnie (25) with a speech that featured a mini action movie of his mission to bring her favourite childhood toy to the wedding, The Sun reported

Steven started his speech, then left the room to fetch the doll, at which point a video started playing showing his action-packed attempts to retrieve it. But while waiting outside the 53-year-old wasn’t sure his daughter would appreciate his over-the-top clip, Daily Mail reports.

“When I was standing around the corner after the video had started, I was thinking, ‘Steven, what have you done?’” he says.

“Then I heard everyone laughing and I thought, ‘Thank God!’ ”

The video, which was filmed over three days, features shots of Steven skydiving, in a high-speed car chase and even tackling some baddies all in pursuit of his daughter’s beloved doll.

“It was a fantastic time. Laura absolutely loved it and that’s what it is all about,” the proud dad of three added.

“It was so special.”
